About the event
History
This will be the 20th UKOUG Conference & Exhibition, which this year celebrates 25 years of UKOUG serving the Oracle community.
Many of our delegates and exhibitors from the Oracle Community come back each year to take part in the UK's most successful Oracle event, which for our celebratory year will span five days.
UK Oracle User Group is an independent membership organisation dedicated to informing and educating Oracle, Siebel, Stellent, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Hyperion user communities about their products, services and any recent developments. Click UKOUG for more details.
The process of putting together the agenda starts in March. Firstly it's our Call for Papers, where we ask the Oracle community to submit a presentation idea, all these abstracts are then voted upon by a Conference Committee representing each of the main topic areas. These sessions are then put into our large agenda grid where we are careful to avoid any clashes. Our chosen speakers are then confirmed and once they agree to their presentation slot, we can publish our agenda. This will be online in early September.
UKOUG 2008 will run over five days with a choice of more than 400 presentations covering 25 topic areas in the following streams:

The UKOUG 2008 Exhibition has room for over 100 stands spread over 2 floors.
