| Presentation abstract: | This presentation will provide some objective comparisons of the relative performance of Oracle Database 10g on Microsoft Windows Server and Linux platforms on identical hardware. The presentation will assess areas where it is reasonable compare the performance of Oracle on these two platforms and areas where a comparison is either invalid or reliant on qualitative factors. Attendees will be enabled to properly evaluate Oracle on competing platforms in their own environment. |
