| Presentation abstract: | This presentation will provide experienced Oracle DBA's with an understanding of what Data Warehousing is all about and will highlight what they need to know in order to maintain them. I'll look at the concepts of Data Warehousing and show how a Data Warehouse differs from an OLTP system in areas such as structure and administration. I’ll highlight some of the tools that are available to help create and administer a Data Warehouse and present some hints and tips for DBA's working on Data Warehouses. |
