Presentation abstract: JavaServer Faces (JSF) is the new standard development framework for Java Enterprise applications. In this session we'll start off by introducing the simplicity of JSF as a UI building technology. Along the way we'll explore how JSF and the ADF framework interact to provide a productive development experience. Then we'll move on to examining the components available to you in the ADF Faces JSF Component set and see how rich and dynamic modern web based UIs can be. As a finale we'll show how JSF can take the strain out building AJAX enabled applications and even be used to develop applications for telnet screen and mobile devices such as phones.

He's been working in the IT industry for the last 17 years in various development and DBA roles and now works on the team responsible for the JDeveloper IDE and the Oracle ADF framework
