| Presentation abstract: | Because of the changes in the business environment over the last decade, the old concept of creating something and then selling it doesn’t work in the same way. Businesses need to understand that: - There are a finite number of customers; particularly in mature markets like northern and western Europe - Customer expectations continue to increase and competition is fierce - Product innovation is important but not enough - Process efficiency is important but not enough Being able to "Sense" market and customer needs and then "Respond" appropriately is key to delivering business growth in today’s market. |

| Speaker biography: | Loïc le Guisquet is Senior Vice President for Oracle Europe Middle East & Africa, with responsibility for the Customer Relationship Management Sales Business Unit and for the License Enterprise Resources Planning Sales Business Unit for Oracle Western Continental Europe. Since joining Oracle, 17 years ago, Loïc has successfully taken on and managed different positions, mostly in license solution selling in large accounts along with successful working experiences in marketing, alliances and channels, education and consulting. In the last two years Loic has been responsible for driving the EMEA Consulting and Business Intelligence & Warehouse Sales – an 800$M/year business – where he significantly contributed to restore growth. Loïc holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and a master’s degree in computer science from Sup’Elec, France. |
