It will be my first time attending, what shall I expect
The Conference will run over five days, Monday 1st - Friday 5th December. The Exhibition will run from Monday - Thursday.
The agenda will offer presentations for the Oracle, Siebel, Stellent and Hyperion communities, covering over 30 different topic areas. The agenda will be live to view from the beginning of September when registration opens.
Presentations will range from beginners through to expert and are 45 minutes in length.
We run a First Timers Briefing session every morning to give our newcomers some top tips on: how to make the most out of your time, informing you of sessions not to be missed and navigating your way round a large conference venue.
How does my Conference entitlement work?
In addition to the main event, the UKOUG 2008 umbrella this year also covers the first dedicated JD Edwards Conference in October and PeopleSoft Conference in December. The membership voucher number is valid for booking places at UKOUG 2008 and the PeopleSoft Conference only. The JD Edwards Conference & Exhibition has a separate booking system, though your overall membership entitlement to Conference day places will be reduced according to attendance at this event.
Platinum Unlimited, Gold Corporate and Partner Memberships
To celebrate the 25th year of serving the Oracle community UKOUG is giving you an extra Conference day place. Your membership will offer you five 1-day places instead of four.
These places are fully transferable enabling you to share days with your colleagues. Several of you can even come on the same day(s). Your voucher number will include all five 1-day places for you and your colleagues to register.
