| Speaker biography: | I have worked closely with Oracle for a number of years and present regularly at international conferences on Oracle database technology. I now act as a consultant Database Administrator and have research interests in database performance, disaster planning and security.
I am a director of both the UK and European Oracle user groups, and received the award of 'Database Administrator of the Year' in 2003 from the Oracle Corporation for services to the Oracle community. In 2007 I achieved Oracle ACE status.
