We will show you how to build a semantic metadata layer on top of your existing database tables, and then move on to creating a dashboard containing some interactive reports and graphs, and show how to build some static reports on this same data using MS Word and BI Publisher. The final part of this presentation will concentrate on more advanced topics such as incorporating interactive images into your dashboards, and enabling BI EE Plus for data capture. |

| Speaker biography: | Veronica Jerling joined SolStonePlus in October 2007, coming from Oracle South Africa, where she spent 10 years in their Business Intelligence division. She has a broad knowledge of all the Oracle BI product range, and is an active member of the UKOUG, presenting regularly at seminars and special interest groups.
Veronica has a technical consulting background and has been involved in all stages of the product development lifecycle, from analysis and design, through to development, implementation, testing and user training.
Her experience covers such industries as retail, telecommunications, higher education, mining and finance.
